Four rooms within four blocks where six people can order well: ABC Cocina, Boqueria, Zero Otto Nove and Kyma.
🗺 Four Rooms, Four Blocks
🌮 ABC Cocina, the Sharing Room
Jean-Georges’ Latin room is set up for exactly this: family-style appetizers beside individual entrees, a vegan and vegetarian selection, salsas for the table. Portions are small, so a table of six should plan on eight plates. It opens at noon Wednesday to Friday and at four on Monday and Tuesday.

🥘 Boqueria, the Tapas Room
Barcelona tapas, slow-cooked paella and Spanish wines in a loud, crowded room a short walk from Union Square Greenmarket. The setup is built for group dining over pitchers of sangria, with jamón ibérico, garlic shrimp and seared octopus arriving fast. The paella takes time, so order it the moment you sit. It runs to 9:30 most nights, ten on Friday and Saturday.

🍕 Zero Otto Nove, the Pizza Room
Wood-fired pizza and Southern Italian classics in an old-world room on West 21st. The pizzas are the reliable order and the pastas lean simple, with reasonably priced wine and cocktails to round it out. A five-course group menu at 75 dollars per person runs for ten or more with prior reservation, though a table of six does better off the regular menu.

🐟 Kyma, the Loud Room
Whitewashed Greek cooking at 15 West 18th: fresh seafood, spreads, saganaki and strong cocktails. Weekend brunch and dinner parties bring live DJs and a room that runs loud, so pick Kyma when the table wants noise rather than a catch-up. Dinner runs to ten on weeknights and eleven Thursday to Saturday.
