Family Style Thai Seafood in Brooklyn With Coconut Crab Curry
Share coconut crab curry and squid ink calamari at a family style spot for Thai seafood in Brooklyn.
🦀 Curry, Calamari and Oysters
Thai seafood in Brooklyn comes family style at Fish Cheeks, 661 Driggs Avenue, where coconut crab curry anchors a table built for sharing. Cofounder Jenn Saesue set out to skip watered down Thai menus, and the kitchen leans into bold, undiluted seasoning.
Spread out from the curry with squid ink calamari, pork belly with chili and garlic, and deeply savory beef krapow. Fresh oysters arrive with a sharp dipping sauce, fried fish comes tossed with fresh herbs, and scoops of sticky rice ice cream close the meal.
Happy hour runs every day from noon to 6 PM with oyster deals, an easy reason to gather early. The restaurant opens at noon daily and serves until quarter past ten Sunday through Thursday, and until quarter to eleven on Friday and Saturday. Group dinners and private events are part of the plan here too.
