The open-air setting stays accessible around the clock, making this the route’s strongest study in contrast. Stand across the street to read the whole composition.

Art Projects International turns the route inward with exhibitions by artists from Asia and beyond. Its Greenwich Street rooms trade spray paint for graphite, shadow, and deliberate repetition, a useful counterpoint after two outdoor walls. Check the Tuesday-to-Friday window before crossing town because weekends are closed. Save this stop for the final pause when you want texture to slow down.
