Starr Bar

This neighborhood spot fills its calendar with a lineup of live music, burlesque, comedy, film screenings, and open mics. Over nearly a decade, it has carved out a niche as a welcoming, slightly divey space where the crowd gathers for reasonably priced cocktails. When the music starts, the decks skew toward older hip hop, R&B, reggae, and pop, supported by a team of exceptionally friendly bartenders.
