An LA gallery juxtaposing contemporary African art and vintage Kenyan movie posters with modern California works.
Description
Built on more than 40 years of field collecting across East and West Africa, the gallery centers on direct visual contrasts. Exhibitions place contemporary African painters and sculptors alongside traditional tribal sculpture and furniture, pairing works by modern Southern California artists with rare vintage movie posters gathered over decades.
