East Cut Community Garden
4.7 (7)park
A Rincon Hill pocket garden featuring shared wooden planting beds, perimeter greenery, and a neighborhood lemon tree.
Description

Tucked along Essex Street behind Rene Cazenave, the space emerged in late 2019 with backing from the City’s Community Challenge Grant program, Guy/Lansing Neighbors, and The East Cut CBD. The layout partitions its 20 plots across specific groups: three communal plots, seven reserved for Rene Cazenave, and ten for neighborhood residents. Practical upkeep is supported on-site by six water spigots, shared trash containers, and a dedicated tool shed.
