Dallas Arboretum

The garden covers 66 acres on the White Rock Lake shoreline east of downtown Dallas, laid out as 22 named gardens that include the Jonsson Color Garden, the Rose Garden, the Fern Dell and the 4.5-acre DeGolyer Gardens. The DeGolyer House, a 21,000-square-foot estate listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is open daily for tours. Holiday at the Arboretum adds a Christmas Village and twelve glass-sided gazebos, one for each day of the song. Entry is at 8525 Garland Road, closest to A Tasteful Place, the DeGolyer House and the Hoffman Family Gift Shop.
