Description

Spanning six acres in the heart of the historic district, this park-like historic cemetery contains over nine thousand graves, including Revolutionary War soldiers and a mass grave of yellow fever victims. Closed to new burials since 1853, the grounds feature red brick and ancient marble slabs framed by Spanish moss swaying in the breeze.
