Clear Pork Soup Anchors This Minimalist Counter
Eat kimchi mandu with a Seoul specialty at OKDONGSIK New York, where regular service is first come, first served.
🥣 A Seoul Specialty
OKDONGSIK New York puts a Seoul specialty at the center of a minimalist counter. Chef Ok Dongsik brought the concept to the city in collaboration with HAND Hospitality. The Seoul import comes backed by multiple Michelin Bib Gourmand distinctions. The kitchen serves dweji gomtang, a clear pork bone soup over rice for 18 dollars, with plump kimchi mandu available for 12 dollars.
Regular service is first come, first served, with no reservations. Donkatsu Service has a separate reservation option through Resy, and the limited lard version is offered during break time. Choose the service you want before heading over, particularly when that limited option is the draw.
Find the counter on the first floor at 13 East 30th Street. Opening hours run Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 10 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM and 5 PM to 10 PM.
