4.7 (17,427)attraction
A Versailles-inspired centerpiece in Grant Park sending water 150 feet high before lighting up with music at dusk.
Description

Designed by architect Edward H. Bennett after the Latona Basin, the rococo monument is built with pink Georgia marble and sculpted elaborate bronze sea horses. Kate S. Buckingham donated the work in honor of her brother Clarence, establishing what came to be regarded as one of America's finest ornamental fountains. Operating seasonally from May to October, the installation stages a 20-minute major water display every hour.
