Basketball brings another reason to know this Bronx playground. The connected court has been a community fixture for over 30 years and hosts the summer Gunhill Basketball Classic, and the space carries a seasonal rhythm of its own.
Summer sprinklers add a warm weather option, while shaded benches offer a place to rest between activities. Staff keep the space tidy and restrooms are available on site. Hours run 7 AM to 6 PM daily at 3330 Olinville Avenue.
