Bay Views, Immersive Art, and Live Sets

Start with the bay’s landmark sightlines, then take in a 40,000-square-foot creative venue and a 1950s room where touring acts play close to the stage. The rhythm moves from open-air wandering to intimate music nights.

Plan a night at The Midway and Bimbo's 365 Club.

San Francisco Date Night

Marin Street After Dark

The Midway gives a date night room to roam, spanning 40,000 square feet and presenting live music alongside broader cultural experiences. Electronic music and immersive art share the setting, putting a concert and an art-focused stop under one roof.

Outdoor block parties extend the program beyond the main venue, adding an open-air option to the lineup. The public event space suits couples who want an evening built around culture and sound rather than a standard dinner reservation.

Skyline Outlook

A waterfront stop near the Ferry Building, Pier 3 gives a solo visitor room to watch anglers and scan the bay. Coit Tower, Alcatraz, and the Bay Bridge line the view, while snacks and night scenery extend the visit beyond daylight.

Entry is free Tuesday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and the site is closed on Mondays. Evening cruises depart from the dock with three decks of distinct musical vibes.

Bimbo's 365 Club

At 1025 Columbus Avenue, a 1950s retro setting creates unusual closeness to the stage during touring shows. Red velvet booths and wall sconces shape the room, with music spanning indie, electronic, jazz, and rock. Public concerts require paid admission, a practical detail for a solo arrival. The full bar serves cocktails, beer, and wine. Weekday office hours run 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and private events can host up to 685 guests.
