🩰 A Dancer Led Routine

Barre None brings ballet and Pilates to your next Upper East Side workout, with a former Broadway dancer behind its particular approach to physical conditioning. Founder Alexander DeJong runs the program out of the intimate Chandelier Studio at 66 E 85th St, putting that dance background into a neighborhood fitness class.

Sessions run for 60 minutes at a time, with yoga and weight training joining the core routine. The work focuses on posture alignment, flexibility and balance, bringing several disciplines together within one class. Low impact describes the format, while the pace stays high intensity. This is conditioning that draws on a combination of approaches to movement.

Opening hours are Monday and Friday from 8 AM to noon, Tuesday through Thursday from 8 AM to 3 PM, Saturday from 9 AM to 10 AM, and Sunday from 9 AM to midnight.
