🛍️ The Market

🎟️ Free Entry, One Ticket

Entry is free with a timed general admission ticket for November 7 or 8 — November tickets release October 28 at 10 a.m. Pacific. The same ticket covers the market, The Broad's third-floor collection galleries and The Shop; Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirror Room is not included and must be booked separately. Hours are Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday 10 to 4.

🧵 Makers, Flags, Free Posters

The stalls belong to Indigenous makers, with NSRGNTS, Neon Navajo, Juniper Breez and Moon Baby Medicine Apothecary among the published roster, selling recycled clothing, handcrafted jewelry and original art. The weekend's Family Artmaking Workshop takes its cues from Jeffrey Gibson (Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and Cherokee): build a flag from bold colors, patterns and words, then finish it with a song lyric or a saying in Gibson's symbol-like lettering. A free, limited-run poster of his 2020 work She Never Dances Alone is the takeaway.

🎭 Sunday Night Across the Street

Sunday ends at REDCAT, the Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater at 631 W 2nd St, directly across from The Broad: Sage-Based Drag Night runs 6 to 7:30 p.m. on November 8, hosted by Jana Schmieding (Lakota) and Brian Bahe (Diné/Hopi/Tohono O'odham) with Landa Lakes, Lady Shug, Big Mama Tama and Bohenne Arreaux, and closes on a live taping of the Sage-Based Wisdom podcast. It is separately ticketed and space is limited.
