A Literary Halloween Party on a Philadelphia Library Rooftop
A literary Halloween party brings costumed book lovers to a Philadelphia library rooftop for drinks and live music on October 29.
📚 Ravens on the Rooftop
The Raven Society, the Free Library's circle for young professionals who read, hosts a literary Halloween party on the rooftop terrace at Parkway Central Library on Thursday, October 29, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Tickets include drinks, light bites and live music, literary costumes are encouraged, and Raven Society members get half off tickets for themselves and guests.
Downstairs, the landmark on the Parkway runs as a working library around its rare book department, a contemporary art gallery and practice instruments for visitors, and entry to the collections is free for locals and tourists alike. Staff across the specialized departments take time to explain their work.
Monday through Thursday hours run from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and the library holds a 4.6 rating across more than five hundred reviews.
