🛝 Play at Their Own Pace

At 2200 Adam C Powell Blvd in Harlem, Langston Hughes Playground sits beside the neighborhood housing projects. The renovated park divides its space into three dedicated play zones for toddlers, younger kids, and older children. That layout makes it easier to keep track of children, especially when a family has more than one age group in tow.

Treehouse themed play structures look as though they were cut directly from trees, bringing a woodland idea into a city playground. Swings and fast slides add movement beyond climbing, while cooling sprinklers offer water play. Basketball courts add space for a game alongside the play equipment.

A simple picnic area provides a place to sit back between stretches of play, with neighborhood regulars filling the space around you. For an early start or an afternoon stop, the park opens daily from 7 AM to 6 PM.
