A Kosher French Bistro Built on an Unexpected Partnership
Classic French dining in a comfortable, old school room on West 46th Street, open from noon most days.
🍽️ French Classics, Kosher Table
Le Marais puts classic French dining on a fully kosher table in Manhattan, with a comfortable, old school atmosphere and an elegant room to match the kitchen. Steakhouse cuts sit alongside the bistro classics, and the same operation runs a butcher shop and catering.
The story behind it is unexpected. The restaurant was founded by a non Jewish Portuguese immigrant who chose an Irish Italian Catholic as executive chef, and together they built one of the most successful kosher dining destinations in the country.
Find it at 150 West 46th Street. Monday through Thursday and Sunday run from noon to 11 PM, Friday runs from noon to 2 PM, and Saturday opens at 8 PM and stays open until 1 AM. That schedule leaves room for a long weekday lunch, an early Friday meal, or a late Saturday dinner to close out the week.
