A Downtown Arena Fronted By Bronze LA Legends

Lakers games and headline concerts fill this Downtown LA arena at L.A. Live, fronted by bronze statues of team legends.

🏆 Legends out front

Crypto.com Arena sits at the center of L.A. Live on South Figueroa Street, home ice and home court for the Kings, Lakers, Clippers, and Sparks. The bowl also books the biggest touring concerts, and the marquee flips from playoff nights to arena tours across a single week.

Out front, Star Plaza lines up bronze statues of the names that filled the building, and a leaping Luc Robitaille anchors the row beside Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant. Wayne Gretzky and Oscar De La Hoya stand a few steps down, and fans gather at the figures before doors as the plaza doubles as a pre-game meeting spot.

The arena opened as Staples Center in 1999 and took its current name in 2021. A 4.7 rating across more than thirty thousand reviews tracks a room that stays busy most nights of the year.
