Wynwood gets described as an art district, but after dark it's really a music district that happens to be painted. The galleries close, the mural tours thin out, and the neighborhood switches formats: an open-air stage in a courtyard, a listening room built around a wall of vinyl, brewery patios with bands, and dance floors that run until 3 a.m. The scene has shifted over the years — beloved rooms have closed and new ones keep opening — so the trick isn't knowing where Wynwood's music was, it's knowing where it is. Here's the current map, from first drink to last set.
Text Karpo before a Wynwood night and it'll line up where the music is, from first set to last call.
Oasis Wynwood: the courtyard stage
Oasis Wynwood, at 2335 N Miami Ave on the neighborhood's northern edge, is the closest thing the district has to a proper outdoor concert venue. It's a sprawling courtyard with food vendors and bars wrapped around a stage that hosts weekly live performances — everything from intimate acoustic sets to touring acts, with plenty of free-to-enter programming mixed in among ticketed shows. Because it's open-air and casual, it works as a whole evening: eat, drink, catch a set, no commitment required. Check the calendar before you go; the mix of free and ticketed nights changes week to week.
Dante's HiFi: the room where you actually listen
Dante's HiFi, at 519 NW 26th St, is Wynwood's most serious music room and its quietest. Modeled on Japan's intimate vinyl listening bars, it runs an analog sound system fed by music director Rich Medina's library of more than 8,000 records. Everyone gets a seat — that's the rule — and unlike most bars in the neighborhood it takes reservations. This isn't a live-band venue; it's a room where the selector is the show, and hearing a record on that system is its own kind of performance. Open Tuesday through Sunday evenings, late on weekends. Go early in the week, order a cocktail, and let someone with better taste than you run the night.

Beer, bands, and patios: Veza Sur
Veza Sur Brewing Co. is the neighborhood's Latin-inflected craft brewery, an indoor-outdoor taproom with a food truck on the grounds and big doors that stay open most days. It absorbed Wynwood Brewing's legacy when the two merged in 2024, which makes it the de facto home of Wynwood beer. Live music shows up on the patio some nights rather than every night, so treat it as a happy accident: it's the right first stop regardless, and if a band happens to be setting up, cancel your next plan.
After midnight: The Dirty Rabbit and 1-800-Lucky
When the bands pack up, Wynwood's stages go digital. The Dirty Rabbit, at 151 NW 24th St, is the district's indoor-outdoor dance machine — open-format and Latin sets, day parties on weekends, and doors that stay open until 3 a.m. It's 21-plus with a dress code, and it is not subtle, which is exactly why it works at 1 a.m. A block away, 1-800-Lucky plays it looser: a 10,000-square-foot Asian food hall with an outdoor bar, a karaoke room, a record shop, and DJs playing nightly — a different genre each night of the week, from hip-hop throwbacks to house. Late-night dumplings with a soundtrack is a strong closing argument for any neighborhood.
Festival season: III Points at Mana Wynwood
Once a year the whole equation scales up. III Points, Miami's homegrown music-and-art festival, takes over the Mana Wynwood campus and roughly five city blocks with more than ten stages running from afternoon into the early morning. The 2026 edition lands October 16–17 with a lineup that includes Underworld, Four Tet, Flying Lotus, and Blood Orange. It's the one weekend when Wynwood's music scene and its art scene stop pretending to be separate things — the murals become the venue walls. If you only do one big music event in Miami a year, locals will tell you this is the one.

Practical notes
Wynwood turns over fast — venues close, stages move, and weekly programming gets reshuffled without much notice, so check Instagram or the venue site the same day. Free shows at the courtyard venues can become ticketed for bigger acts. Parking is paid lots or a rideshare; on festival weekends, skip driving entirely. Most late-night rooms are strictly 21-plus and some enforce dress codes.

Ask Karpo first
The difference between a great Wynwood night and an expensive walk past murals is timing — which courtyard has a band tonight, whether the listening room has seats left, which dance floor is worth the line. Text Karpo before you head over: ask what's on in Wynwood tonight, where to hear live music near you, or whether that show is free, and it'll answer like a friend who already checked the calendars.
