That is a much bigger commitment, and it is the line that separates the pubs that treat football mornings as their identity from the ones that treat it as an occasional favour.
It also completely changes the experience. Three hours in a bar starting at seven in the morning with nothing but beer is a rough way to begin a Saturday. The same three hours with a full breakfast in the middle of them is one of the more pleasant things this city offers, and it is the reason the good rooms have the same faces in them every week.
The three neighbourhoods that carry it

A few things separate people who do this happily from people who try it once. Walk or take transit; the parking situation at seven in the morning is easy but the drive home after four hours is not. And go with the expectation of staying for both matches, because that is what the room will do and leaving at nine feels abrupt.
Finally, call. Early opening in San Francisco is genuinely week-to-week — it depends on the fixture, on staffing, and on whether the pub thinks it will get thirty people or six. A bar that opened at six last Saturday may open at ten this one, and the website will say neither. Thirty seconds on the phone on a Friday afternoon is the entire difference between a good Saturday and standing outside a locked pub at ten to seven.
