Those are the actual numbers and they are worth committing to memory, because the difference between a 1am Sunday and a 2am Monday is the difference between eating and not.
What that schedule creates is a specific kind of room in the small hours: people coming off shifts, people leaving something else, and a counter that has been running the same operation for over fifty years without adjusting its personality for the hour. It is not a late-night novelty. It is the same pizzeria, still open.
What the pizza is
New York-style, hand-tossed, on the thinner side of the American norm, with a crust that browns properly and a generous but not absurd amount of cheese. Nothing about it is trying to be a project. There is no fermentation story, no imported flour narrative and no oven with a name.
That plainness is the point and it is why the place has lasted. A 1974 neighbourhood pizzeria that is still good in 2026 has stayed good by changing nothing, and the pizza tastes like a specific decade of American pizza-making executed carefully rather than like an interpretation of one.

What the room is actually like
Plain. Fluorescent light, formica, a counter, a handful of tables, nothing on the walls that anybody chose recently. There is no design, there is no music policy and there is no attempt to make you stay.
That reads as charmless in daylight and completely different at half past one in the morning, when a bright, plain, functional room with hot food in it is exactly the correct thing. The place makes considerably more sense late than it does at lunch, which is unusual and is the main thing to understand about it.
Delivery and takeaway are a large share of what it does, and the phone is answered. If you are somewhere in North Miami late and not inclined to move, that is a legitimate way to use it.
The fifty-year thing
The shop passed fifty years in 2024 and it is worth pausing on what that means in Miami specifically. This is a city that rebuilds itself continuously, where restaurant tenancies turn over fast and where a decade counts as a long run. A pizzeria that has been on the same boulevard since 1974, serving the same pizza, is close to a geological feature.
Longevity is not the same as quality and there are plenty of old restaurants coasting on it. What makes this one worth the drive is that the pizza is actually good — not good-for-a-late-night-place, not good-considering, just good — and that it has not been renovated into something else while nobody was looking.
So the honest recommendation is conditional on when. If you want the best pizza in Miami at eight in the evening, there are stronger arguments elsewhere in this city. If you want a good pizza at one in the morning on Biscayne Boulevard, there is essentially one answer and this is it.
How to use it if you are not local
North Miami is not where most visitors are staying, and it is worth being clear that this is a drive. It sits well north of downtown on Biscayne Boulevard, past the MiMo district, in a stretch that is residential and commercial rather than a destination in itself.
That means the trip only makes sense in two situations: you are already north — coming back from Aventura, or Sunny Isles, or somewhere along the boulevard — or it is late enough that the alternatives have closed and the drive is the price of eating well. Both of those are real situations and the shop has been serving them for fifty years.
If you are staying on the beach or in Brickell and it is nine in the evening, this is not the pizza to drive for. There are better-located options and the reason to come here has nothing to do with beating them at eight o'clock.
