If you're new to LA or trying to stretch a grocery budget, it's a reasonable question to ask. The answer is consistent across all locations: Erewhon accepts credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash. EBT is not on that list.
The policy reflects positioning. Erewhon prices are high—$18 smoothies, $26 prepared salads, organic produce that runs three times the cost of conventional equivalents. The business model is premium margin, not volume. SNAP benefits are designed for essential nutrition, and federal rules restrict which retailers can accept them. Erewhon has not applied for SNAP authorization, and there is no public indication that will change.
