That is an eleven-hour service, seven days a week, which puts it in a small group of Los Angeles kitchens that are open whenever you happen to be hungry.
The mid-afternoon is the sleeper slot — the room is near empty, the ovens are hot, and the pizza is identical to the one that comes out at eight. If your day has a gap in it, that is where to put this.
Where East Hollywood sits
This stretch of Santa Monica Boulevard runs between Hollywood proper and Silver Lake, an unfussy corridor of small businesses, Thai and Armenian food, and very little of what people picture when they hear Hollywood. The area to the east is Thai Town, which has its own late-night culture and is worth knowing about as a second stop.
There is parking, which on this side of town is not a given. The boulevard is a driving street rather than a strolling one, so treat this as a destination rather than something you stumble into on a walk.
