Some of those listings are stale, some are aggregator guesswork, and some are unlicensed storefronts advertising exactly the hours that a licensed one is not permitted to keep. The useful thing to understand is that in New York the closing time is not really set by the shop — it is set by the state, and it is the same rule everywhere in the five boroughs. Housing Works Cannabis Co is not a late-night option — it runs roughly 9am to 9pm on weekdays, 10am to 10pm on Saturday and 11am to 8pm on Sunday at 750 Broadway, just off Astor Place — but it is worth knowing as the reference point. It was the first legal recreational cannabis shop to open in New York State, it is run by a nonprofit whose revenue funds services for people living with HIV/AIDS and homelessness, and its buying leans deliberately toward smaller BIPOC- and women-owned producers. What Changes Once the Doors Close
Delivery is the after-hours answer, and it is narrower than the marketing suggests.
