Zombie Films — film screening at Goethe-Institut New York

German cinema has explored horror since the silent era, and this year's programme turns to the versatile zombie trope. Carolina Hellsgård's Ever After pairs two very different women on a road trip from Weimar to Jena as a virus epidemic ravages the country. Meanwhile, Marvin Kren's chamber play Rammbock: Berlin Undead strands a heartbroken man in a flat as he attempts to reunite with his ex-girlfriend during an outbreak.
