Beyond its primary function as a Ministry of Justice correctional facility in Higashi Ward, the grounds host an annual autumn exhibition dedicated to inmate rehabilitation awareness. The event gives the public access to facility interior tours alongside direct product sales. Year-round, the onsite hall expands its selection of CAPIC products beyond furniture to include textiles and woodwork crafted at Sapporo Prison and facilities nationwide.
