Sitting at 2,493 meters elevation on Mount Fuji’s Fujinomiya trail—roughly 30 minutes up from the 5th station—this historic summer hut serves as both an overnight rest point and a practical breather before the upper ascent. Operating from early July through early September, it provides a spacious interior for pre-climb preparations alongside clean bedding, outdoor benches, and luggage holding for summit pushes. Climbers can pick up walking sticks, catch their breath over deeply flavored warm drinks served in paper cups, or settle into semi-private sleeping spaces before heading higher.
