Description

Located along Route 387 in Nishi-Shiya, this viewpoint looks out over terraced fields and a rural settlement set against Akiba-sama, a conical peak associated with fire protection. Fitted with a barrier-free ramp, the site works best as a quick five-minute stop or a look from the car, though passing cloud cover can obscure the view. Facilities include a King's Chair photo setup framing the landscape and the weekend Tenku no Ichi market selling local vegetables at low prices.
