Your Own Jet Ski From Boynton's Ramp to Highland Beach

Most of the houses along this stretch of the Intracoastal face the water and turn their backs on the road. From the highway you get fences. This hour puts you on a three-seat Yamaha running south from Boynton Beach toward Highland Beach, with a guide ahead of you and snorkel gear stowed if you want it.

Jet Ski from Boynton to Highland Beach.

Harvey E. Oyer Jr. Park sits on the west bank of the Intracoastal Waterway, almost directly across from the Boynton Inlet. It is a county boat ramp. The launch is working waterfront: trailers backing down, fishing boats waiting their turn.

The ride is fixed at 60 minutes and it is private. One machine carries up to three people, and you can book one, two, or three machines. Nobody is grouped in with you.

Everyone meets at the park. There is no hotel pickup on this one, and booking closes two hours before the start time. The tour holds a 5.0 average from 12 reviews.

Six Minutes South, Then the Throttle Opens

The route is the same each time and the operator describes it plainly. You launch into the Intracoastal and run south for about six minutes to reach what they call the fast area. That is where the speed happens.

Then it slows down. The middle of the hour goes past the waterfront houses, then works into a residential stretch at Highland Beach where the homes sit right on the water and the docks come almost to the door. The last leg comes back north through the fast area one more time.

Photos and videos are taken during the ride and included. You do not pay extra for them.

The Snorkel Gear Is Yours to Use

Snorkel equipment comes with the booking, and the operator says it is the only outfit in the area offering it on this ride. Whether you get in the water is up to you and the conditions on the day.

What you see is never guaranteed. This is open water in Palm Beach County and the wildlife keeps its own schedule. Some riders meet dolphins. Some see nothing but water.

The ride runs in English or Spanish.

Who This Hour Suits

Each machine is built around two adults and one child, and that is how the price is set. Booking individual machines costs more.

The operator lists conditions that make this a bad idea:

  • Not recommended if you have a spinal injury
  • Not recommended during pregnancy
  • Not recommended with poor cardiovascular health
  • A moderate level of physical fitness is expected

The listing gives two different weight limits for the same machine, 450 pounds in one place and 500 in another. If you are booking three to a machine, confirm the figure with the operator before you pay.

The operator keeps three machines and the price follows how many you take out:

  • One machine, USD 270
  • Two machines, USD 540
  • Three machines, USD 810

Three is the ceiling, so nine people is the practical limit on a single booking.

Booking, Weather and the Refund Window

Confirmation is manual. You book, and the operator confirms by hand. There is no instant voucher, so allow for the wait if you are booking for the same day.

Cancellation is the standard version:

  • Full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure
  • No refund inside 24 hours
  • The operator cancels and refunds you if the weather does not cooperate

Tickets are mobile only, one per booking. Departures run seven days a week.

📍 The park is at 2010 N Federal Highway in Boynton Beach, on the Intracoastal side of the road. Trailer parking and a fishing pier share the lot, and the ramps get busy on weekends, so leave a little margin getting in.

Bring a towel and sunscreen. The life jackets and the safety gear are already on the machine, and the snorkel set is there if you decide you want it.
