Lawn Games and a Bar-Service Tasting at Bridge Lane

Bridge Lane is a casual bar-service tasting room attached to its winery, with rainbow picnic tables on the patio, Adirondack chairs on a shaded lawn, and bocce, shuffleboard and cornhole that are free to play. The listing gives it 90 minutes and four tastes, then time to buy bottles and take photos; Bridge Lane's own walk-in flight is six wines. Bridge Lane states that it does not offer tours, and live music plays there on weekends from Memorial Day to Columbus Day.

Between Labor Day and Memorial Day, Bridge Lane's own page lists it open Thursday to Sunday, noon to 7:00 PM, while the booking calendar still sells Tuesdays and Wednesdays in those months. Its footer says Thursday to Monday, which leaves Mondays unclear. The listing does not say which winery takes the first stop on a day Bridge Lane is closed. Get that answer from the operator in writing before paying for an off-season weekday.

Five Wines You Choose at Pindar

Pindar's tasting room sits on Route 25 in Peconic and opens daily from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the tasting bar closing at 5:30 PM. A flight there is five wines chosen from the tasting menu. The itinerary lists five tastes for this stop, though one inclusions line on the listing says four at each winery. Pindar requires groups arriving in hired vehicles to prepay a time slot, and the listing counts entry at both wineries as included. The listing describes this stop as a tasting; Pindar sells its tour of the barrel and tank rooms separately, on weekends from May to October. The winery calls itself the oldest winery and vineyard on Long Island still owned by the same family.

Pindar closes on Easter Sunday and Thanksgiving Day, and the booking calendar was still selling Thanksgiving Day 2026 on October 10.

Bring Lunch, Under Two Sets of Picnic Rules

Food is absent from the inclusions, and the day runs eight hours. Both stops let you eat your own, under different rules. Bridge Lane allows outside food on its patio, lawn and indoor tables as long as you take your trash away, bans coolers and outside drinks, and sells brie and cheddar snack boards. Pindar allows picnic lunches only in its outdoor areas and only with a purchase of its wine or other drinks, keeps outside food out of the tasting room, and may inspect coolers. Neither winery allows alcohol it did not sell, and Pindar sells cheese, crackers and snacks inside.

Health Notes, Service Animals and the Tip

The listing does not recommend this day for pregnant travelers or for anyone with poor cardiovascular health. Service animals are allowed. The chauffeur's tip is not included in the price. Show your ticket to the chauffeur at pickup.

📍 Pickup is the McDonald's at the corner of Third Avenue and East 58th Street in Midtown Manhattan, 966 Third Avenue. The vehicle arrives 10 minutes before the 9:30 AM start. The listing names no separate drop-off point. Leave room in your bag: the listing builds time at Bridge Lane for buying bottles to take home.
