🎨 Inside the Nara Show

Yoshitomo Nara brings his first solo presentation with David Zwirner to Chelsea this fall, and it is also his first major solo exhibition in New York in nearly a decade. The show spans two buildings, 533 West 19th Street and 537 West 20th Street, from October 29 to December 12, 2026.

New portraits from 2026 meet the viewer with direct gazes in a softer, more nuanced palette. Large drawings and early works chosen by the artist hang near thirteen sculptural enlargements, each ten times the size of the original.

Both galleries are open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with free admission, and sit one block apart.
