Wunderkammer: A Taxidermy Showcase and Competition

Wunderkammer revives the 1800s world-expo tradition of displaying taxidermy to spark wonder, with a modern focus on sustainability, inclusivity and imagination. Taxidermy artists from around the country present their most creative work in a juried showcase across five categories: Unnatural History, Anthropomorphic Animals, Bone Zone, Wearable Wunderkammer and Wild Card. Hosts are Science Channel personality Justin Fornal and NYC taxidermist Divya Anantharaman, with a judging panel that includes Kate Clark and George Dante. The night also brings a ritual sideshow by The No Ring Circus, Beautiful and Bizarre Drag, a special appearance by Taxidermy Auction, curious cocktails and conservation talk. Every ticketed guest gets a door gift from Bazaar Baltimore, and early bird ticket holders are entered in a prize raffle. Doors open at 7pm, the show starts at 8pm and the evening runs until 11pm.
