Description
Pilar Tobón established the initiative in Miami in 1997 as Women in Textile Art, before adopting its broader name in 2009. Today, the organization connects fiber artists from over 75 countries, dedicated to the development and dissemination of the medium through symposia, seminars, and cross-border cultural exchanges.
