Held at the historic Verdi Club, this weekly swing dance night pairs live music and drop-in lessons with a full bar.
Description
Taking its name from the 1939 swing tune by the Woody Herman Orchestra, the Tuesday night gathering fills the dance floor in San Francisco's Mission district. Alongside the regular social dancing, the programme offers monthly classes in Lindy Hop and Balboa for dancers looking to build specific technique. A dedicated lounge operates alongside the hall, with the full bar restricted to ages 21 and up.
