Wood Fire Cooking Meets Artist Collaborations In The West Village
Dinner at HUMM pairs a 90 seat main room with a 20 seat lounge in a former brasserie.
🎨 A Brasserie Reimagined
HUMM brings Daniel Humm to 435 Hudson Street with a modern American menu, much of it prepared in a wood fire oven or on a charcoal grill. Executive chef Dmitri Magi and chef de cuisine Alex Peña are also part of the kitchen team. Laura Cronin is executive pastry chef, and Orianna Mendez is pastry chef.
Pierre Yovanovitch redesigned the former West Village brasserie, which has a 90 seat main dining room, a bar, and a deep maroon lounge with 20 seats. Site specific artworks were created in collaboration with Francesco Clemente and Rashid Johnson.
You can reserve through Resy, and the restaurant opens daily from 5 PM to 10 PM. Pricing is a la carte. Dining room cancellations or no shows within six hours carry a 50 dollar charge per person, while the bar carries a 25 dollar charge per person for the same window.
