Women's Museum of California
4.4 (53)museum
4.4 (53)A San Diego museum chronicling female pioneers, artists, and activists through focused archives and rotating exhibits.
Description
The compact museum explores women's history through changing and itinerant exhibitions covering art, science, and civil rights in peace and war. Displays draw on regional artifacts to chronicle major milestones, including an informative overview celebrating 100 years of women's right to vote. While visitors consistently value the density of historical material, impressions of admission pricing and the gift shop selection are mixed.
