Women, Gin & ‘Sin’: Immersive Tour & Gin Tasting

Part immersive theatre, part hidden feminist history and part gin tasting, the evening begins with a greeting from flamboyant host Madame Ginerva and an initial gin cocktail. Encounters with two figures from 18th-century London follow: a mother born into poverty who discusses sex work and addiction, and an aristocratic lady representing the founders excluded from the hospital's governance. Drinks historian Jane Peyton then leads a tutored tasting of three distinctive gins and their associated cocktails, tracing the spirit's journey from a chaotic 18th-century drink to a modern cabinet staple.
