Upon arrival, a gin cocktail greets guests before they encounter two distinct figures from Georgian society: a impoverished mother recounting her path through addiction and sex work, and an aristocratic woman representing the founders of the Foundling Hospital. Afterwards, drinks historian Jane Peyton leads a tutored tasting of three distinctive gins and their cocktails. The evening blends theatrical tour elements with hidden feminist history.
