Description
Operating as a branch of the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii, the temple was originally established in 1968 as the Kailua Hongwanji Mission. The facility was rebuilt and dedicated in 2014, then renamed in 2019 to reflect its broader role in the area. Beyond regular practice, the calendar incorporates family activities and special community gatherings rooted in its Jodo Shinshu foundation.
