Six-Wine Tasting at Wilson Creek, by Private Car from LA
A driver-guide collects your group from a Los Angeles or Orange County hotel and gives three of the listing's six hours to Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula, where a six-wine tasting comes with the booking.
American Riviera Tours is a Los Angeles company that runs private sightseeing by car, and this listing is its day trip to Temecula wine country. The car is yours for the day. The listing marks the tour private, prices it per vehicle, and takes up to five travelers on one booking.
It leaves at 10:00 every day, with pickup at your hotel. The listing gives the day six hours, and the longest single block is three hours at Wilson Creek Winery on Rancho California Road.

The booking covers the private car with air conditioning, bottled water, and a tasting of six different wines at the winery. Lunch and the guide's tip are not included.
Cancelling at least 24 hours before departure gets a full refund, and later cancellations get nothing back.

Wilson Creek is the stop the day is built around. The listing gives it 180 of the six hours and includes the tasting. The winery's ticket page describes a tasting-room ticket as six tastings and says the coupons are validated with a picture ID, so everyone tasting needs one.
Leave the picnic at the hotel. The listing calls the grounds a good place for a family picnic, but the winery's code of conduct allows no outside food, alcohol or music. Food on the property comes from the Creekside Grille, which the winery runs mainly as walk-in and does not book on the same day, and from the Courtyard Bar & Grill, which opens Friday to Sunday only and has what the winery calls a limited food menu. Pets are not allowed, though certified service dogs are welcome.
The Guide Has Also Been the Group Photographer

The listing's reviews, written between December 2022 and June 2025, keep naming the same guide, Yuriy, who also drove. Several mention the photos he took of their group. One traveler wrote that he was "organized, early, a great driver" and flexible when they needed him to be, and a group of five picked up in central Los Angeles wrote that he "even provided water for the car." The listing itself names no guide, so the person on your day may be someone else.
That same group wrote that "the first location was paid for with the purchase of the trip," then finished at a final stop with a wine flight and dinner at sunset. Only one tasting is in the inclusions, so plan to pay for anything poured at a second winery. The listing sells a second option, Customize Your Wine Tour, that adds more Temecula wineries on request or a charter bus for larger groups.
Six Hours Have to Hold the Drive, Too
The six hours cover more than wine. Besides Wilson Creek's three, the listing schedules 15 minutes in Temecula wine country and 30 at Lake Harveston Park, which it describes as a place to walk, with a playground, fishing, rental boats and a Little Free Library. The boats are rented by Pedalport, whose page gives current fall hours only for Friday from 4 pm and weekends from 10 am, both until sunset. The city bans alcohol in all of its parks, so wine bought at Wilson Creek stays in the car. The rest of the day goes to the drive between Temecula and your hotel.
Where you are picked up decides how much of the day is spent on the road. The listing's pickup list runs from Santa Clarita and Palmdale in the north to Huntington Beach and Irvine in the south. One reviewer wrote that the group was exhausted before the guide was, and the birthday group above ended its day with dinner at sunset.
Booking Windows, Refunds and Who Can Come
Confirmation is instant, but the listing closes bookings 48 hours before departure, so this is not a same-day plan. The listing also lets the operator cancel for bad weather. Wilson Creek has its own rules for the car: its policies page says a transportation company has to book the drop-off at least 72 hours ahead by phone (the visit page says 48 hours), has to be registered with the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association, and cannot drop guests off after 2 pm on weekends.
Anyone can be on the booking, children included. The winery requires children to be attended at all times and says underage drinking will not be tolerated. The listing does not recommend the tour for pregnant travelers or for anyone with poor cardiovascular health. It also marks the tour suitable for all physical fitness levels and says infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Both of those notes come from the listing alone, because the operator's own website does not list this tour.
There is no meeting point to find. The listing picks travelers up at hotels, accepts a custom pickup address, and asks you to call the guide to coordinate, so settle the pickup time before the day.
Three hours of Wilson Creek's tasting room and grounds sit in the middle of the day, and the drive back to Los Angeles is someone else's job.
