Description

Set just east of downtown opposite the Frost Bank Center, Willow Springs stretches to 7,029 yards from the back tees, building on a tournament pedigree where Ben Hogan and Sam Snead claimed Texas Open titles in the late 1940s.

The layout pairs open fairways and large greens with early pressure at hole 2—a 655-yard dogleg flanked by a water hazard on the left and Salado Creek on the right that requires three excellent shots to reach in regulation. Once clear of that test, the course widens out with steady birdie opportunities across the remaining holes.
