Willow Lake Farm
4.6 (48)park
Trails wind through woods and pastures at this 108-acre preserve, offering rich birding beside an active horse farm.
Description

The 2.4 miles of trails move through changing terrain as open pastures give way to young forest. The meadows draw nesting yellow warblers, common yellowthroats, and willow flycatchers, while the woods shelter wood thrushes, eastern towhees, and red-eyed vireos alongside year-round migratory songbirds. Insect and animal life spans pipevine swallowtail and monarch butterflies to resident fox, deer, and woodchucks, with trails running close enough to spot horses across the working farm next door.
