Description

Completed in 1903 at 7,308 feet long, this historic East River crossing held the record as the longest suspension bridge span until 1924. Beyond its span between Manhattan and Brooklyn, the deck occasionally plays host to groups of runners navigating music-blasted courses and cheer zones complete with hidden celebratory beers.
