Wilkes Park
4.5 (17)park
Once a plant nursery, this neighborhood park features paved paths, a basketball court, and an accessible playground.
Description

The 1.88-acre grounds were owned for many years by the Van Alstyne family before Portland acquired the site in 1998, eventually dedicating the park in August 2004. Alongside a play area surfaced with engineered mulch, the grounds include a Portland Loo and function as a designated Basic Earthquake Emergency Communication Node.
