Description

Along the Wildcat Creek watershed, the 2,789-acre terrain stretches from the Tilden Nature Area in the south to Richmond at its northern edge. The park incorporates a substantial portion of the paved Nimitz Way extending out from Inspiration Point, accommodating hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians alongside visitors seeking open space. At the Richmond entrance, Alvarado Park adds a distinct pocket of historic stonework, outfitted with picnic spaces for small or large gatherings, a children's play area, and direct creek access.
