Wild Stallion: A Mountain Coaster Where You Set the Speed
One ride on SkyLand Ranch's Wild Stallion, by day or after dark, with the speed left to the rider in control of the car.
The Wild Stallion is a mountain coaster at SkyLand Ranch on the Parkway in Sevierville, and this booking is one ride on it. SkyLand Ranch bills it as the longest mountain coaster in the Southeast. Its listing puts the track at 1.25 miles and the ride at more than eight minutes.
The speed is yours to set. The listing says the ride runs "at a speed you get to control," and two of the riders who wrote about it in 2026 singled out the same thing. By day the ride is sold for views of the Smoky Mountains. After dark it is sold for the lights of the city.

The booking is a per-person wristband for one ride, used once. As of October 15, 2026, the listing priced it at USD 18.99 for riders 10 and older and USD 9.99 for ages 3 to 9. The booking has no time slot, and the listing says parking is free. The SkyLand Ranch Safari Hayride is not included, though the listing says it can be added.

Each car runs on a rail, and the rider in control decides how fast it goes. One parent wrote in August 2026 that being able to "control your own speed" mattered with an apprehensive 10-year-old who was afraid it would go too fast, and that he "had a blast." Another rider wrote in May 2026 that it was "nerve wracking at first" and that she rode with her 8-year-old daughter.
Holding the speed down is part of the ride, and it is what made it work for a nervous child.
Smoky Mountain Views by Day, City Lights After Dark

The listing sells two versions of the same ride. In daylight it promises views of Sevierville and the Smoky Mountains. At night it promises the sparkling lights of the city. The ticket is the same either way, which leaves the hour as the one choice to make.
One rider wrote in August 2026 to "watch out for all of the farm animals along the way as you pass by." A grandparent wrote in September 2026 that the grandchildren asked to ride it every night of their stay.
Who Can Ride, and Who Rides With an Adult
Riders need to be at least 3 years old and 38 inches tall, and anyone under 54 inches rides with an adult. From 54 inches up, a rider can take a car alone. Two people sharing a car can weigh no more than 375 pounds combined in dry conditions, and no more than 330 pounds in wet weather.
The listing quotes the manufacturer: riders need to be in good health, with complete upper and lower body strength and control. It does not recommend the ride for travelers with spinal injuries, for pregnant travelers, or for anyone with poor cardiovascular health. The same listing also carries a line calling it suitable for all physical fitness levels. The manufacturer's wording is the stricter of the two, and it is the one written as a requirement.
Price follows age: ages 3 to 9 pay the child rate, and riders 10 and older pay the adult rate.
Check In for a Wristband Before You Ride
Confirmation is instant, and a mobile or paper ticket is accepted. The whole party needs to be there at check-in: the listing asks for the booking confirmation along with your entire party at the SkyLand Ranch admissions window, where the wristbands are given out. Each wristband is good for one ride.
One rider mentioned ride photos for sale on site. The listing gives a full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure, and no refund inside 24 hours.
The listing gives the coaster's address as 1620 Parkway, Sevierville, Tennessee. Check in at the admissions window, put the wristband on, and pick the hour: daylight for the mountains, after dark for the lights.
