Where Vanderbilt Football Meets A Burning Sunset
Fill the West End stands for a Vanderbilt Commodores home game, with a marching band and a skyline at dusk.
🏈 Under the lights
FirstBank Stadium is the home of the Vanderbilt Commodores, set inside the university's West End campus about a mile from downtown Nashville. The open west side of the bowl leaves room for the sky on autumn game evenings.
The Commodores play an SEC schedule here, drawing gold-and-black crowds and the Spirit of Gold marching band onto the turf. At kickoff in October the western horizon can flare orange and pink above the upper deck, mirrored in the stadium lights.
The grounds sit on Jess Neely Drive, walkable from campus and the West End dining strip. Gates open a couple of hours before each home kickoff, and the star-and-V logo marks midfield.
