The Anthem is a multi-level concert hall on Washington's Southwest Waterfront, at 901 Wharf St SW, built to hold roughly six thousand people for major touring acts. The room stacks a general-admission floor beneath tiered balconies, and its sightlines stay clear from the rail down to the pit.
On the main floor, the center of the pit gets hot and crowded during headline sets, and staff move through with free water. The calmer spots sit along either side of the floor, close to the stage with room to breathe. Balcony tiers keep concessions and restrooms on the same level, with dedicated access through the Maine Street entrance for select seating.
Security checks move quickly at the doors, and the merch counters stay stocked and fast between sets. Sound carries cleanly across the hall, a draw for the national tours landing on the Wharf.
