Where Comics Test New Material On A Fishtown Stage

Touring and local comics work new sets on a brick stage in Philadelphia's Fishtown, at tables close to the mic.

🎤 Testing new sets

Punch Line Philly is a stand-up comedy club in the Fishtown entertainment complex, sharing the block with The Fillmore and its bars. The room seats guests at tables that run close to a low brick stage, where headliners and drop-in local comics land jokes a few feet from the front row.

The calendar mixes national touring names with weeknight showcases, and the club runs multiple sets on busier nights. During a show, servers take drink and food orders from a full menu while the tables stay tight once a set fills.

The address sits on Laurel Street off Delaware Avenue in Fishtown, a short walk from the neighborhood's bars and restaurants. Ticketed shows draw lines at the door, and seating fills by set time.
