Apple The Grove is the company's mid-city Los Angeles flagship, set along the outdoor promenade beside The Original Farmers Market. The storefront is built around retractable glass panels that slide back on warm days, thinning the boundary between the shopping street and the sales floor. Foster + Partners designed the interior with a double-height forum, a wide video wall, and rows of trees that carry the greenery indoors.
Staff run free Today at Apple sessions on photography, music, and coding at the wooden Forum tables, and a Genius Bar handles repairs toward the back. The building's signature gesture, a glass facade that folds open onto the promenade, arrives whenever the weather cooperates.
The spot doubles as a landmark stop between The Grove's central fountain and the neighboring farmers market stalls, an easy pairing for a mid-city Los Angeles afternoon.
